🆕 Reported Account and Registration Types Added to Accounts API
Two new fields—account_type_reported and registration_type_reported—have been added to the Accounts API. These additions provide direct visibility into the raw custodial account type information, allowing users to reference the original data exactly as reported by the custodian. ...Click here to view Code Descriptions...
🔍 How It Works
The account_type_reported and registration_type_reported fields return the unmodified account and registration type values sourced directly from the custodian’s data feed. This enables users to validate, compare, or audit custodial account classifications without relying solely on mapped or normalized data.
Increased transparency into custodial data supports improved reconciliation, more accurate data validation, and stronger operational oversight—all within the existing Accounts API.
🆕 Registration Lines Reported Field Added to Accounts API
A new field, registration_lines_reported, has been added to the Accounts API. This field provides complete visibility into the registration information associated with an account, offering deeper insight into ownership structures and account setup details.
🔍 How It Works
The registration_lines_reported field returns all registration lines tied to a given account. This allows platforms, operations teams, and analysts to easily reference or verify the full registration text directly within API responses—without needing to cross-reference external documents or files.
This enhancement streamlines compliance reviews, strengthens data integrity, and gives users a clearer understanding of how each account is registered—all within the existing Accounts API.
📧 Expanded Emails For Fidelity (NFS)
An update to the Fidelity integration now includes a wider range of email addresses sourced from their account email records. This improvement ensures that additional contact details are surfaced within the Related Persons API, giving users a more complete and reliable view of client communication data.
🔍 How It Works
Multiple email entries from Fidelity’s account-level data are now mapped to the appropriate individuals on the Related Persons endpoint. Leveraging the expanded dataset gives users access to a richer set of contact points that were not previously available through the API, improving data completeness, strengthening communication workflows, and enhancing the overall accuracy of client records across Fidelity-linked accounts.
🛠️ Billing Groups Enhancement
The Billing Groups functionality now supports adding multiple accounts at once when creating or assigning accounts to a new billing group. Designed for clients managing large volumes of accounts, the update reduces manual effort and setup time. Bulk additions make it easier to organize billing groups efficiently and maintain accuracy when handling complex account structures.
🧰 Fixes & Improvements
Optimizations to the reporting system have improved both data filtering and price fetching processes, resulting in significantly faster report generation and smoother overall performance. These enhancements are especially beneficial for households and accounts with a high volume of securities, reducing processing delays and improving efficiency across reporting calculations. Users can now expect quicker, more reliable reporting while maintaining full data accuracy and consistency throughout the reporting suite.
Addressed an issue with Advisor Code Filtering that previously allowed duplicate entries in source data. This fix ensures cleaner, more accurate data by eliminating redundancies at the source. The update improves data integrity and streamlines workflows that rely on filtered advisor information.
Updated the Billing Groups functionality to allow adding multiple accounts when creating or assigning accounts to a new billing group. This improvement streamlines account management and simplifies the setup process for billing groups.
Deployed a fix for a UI error that was triggering unintentionally when creating a household within the Atlas site.
Resolved an issue that impacted the speed of bulk data downloads for invoices. This fix enhances overall performance, allowing clients to retrieve large data sets more quickly and efficiently.
